Love this takeaway. Only gripe is sometimes they take a bit longer to deliver than they say but in my experience that only happens at peak times. Lamb Saag is divine. Never ever had a bad meal from here.

Had the lamb passanda, was probably the best take out meal I've ever had! Couldn't give it 5 stars because I've only been once, but I'm sure the other food is amazing! Go go go!

We had a terrible experience - the food was late and then when it came it was the wrong order. It took them a long time to redeliver and when it finally came it was bland and tasteless. Perhaps this was just a bad night for them but I am not giving them a second chance especially as they offered no compensation for the delivery problems - we ended up eating at 11 o'clock after having ordered at 8.30

Love it - been getting deliveries for about 3 years now. Love the chicken rogan josh and the chicken pakora.

Best Indian take-away I've tried in Edinburgh so far! Usually try a different dish every time we order and I am yet to find one I don't love. Great prices for what you get - great tasting food, fast friendly service and 1 main meal is easily enough for 2 hungry people! Highly recommended.

Every time I come to Edinburgh Abdul's is one of the highlights. We've tried several others over the years but we always come back to Abdul's. My favourites are the Kashmiri Chicken, the Kathmandu Chicken and the Lamb Saag (looks a bit like a cow pattie but it's soooooo good!).

Some time ago my friend, who lives just a couple of houses up the road from Abdul's, was thinking about moving - one of the reasons she decided to stay was Abdul's.

Many people talk about how Abduls is one of the best Indian takeaways in Edinburgh, but it must be living on past reputations.

The takeaway I had was the worst bar none. Clearly I was eating reheated food from the day before.

The grub was inedible and at best luke warm. Dry cardboard for pakoras, chewy 'stuff' for kebabs, greasy rice and a bhuna that felt it had been diluted like some kind of cordial drink.

Very very poor. I actually complained and asked to speak to the manager, when I was told he was not available, I asked for his details, the staff were evasive. Funny that.
